What does Jesus look like? Does anyone really know? I know that North American popular culture depicts him as a caucasian man with long brown hair and a beard. However, if he was from the middle east, he would have a middle east appearance of tan skin, possible black ( or very dark brown) hair, a larger nose, and slight almond eyes.
So where do the North American images come from? Easy. Man created god in his image.
In fact, since we are creating these images out of nothing we are breaking the first commandment by creating false idols.
The christian god also forbid his people from depicting a god in any form.
“You shall make no graven image or any likeness of anything in heaven or earth, nor bow down to any such thing.”
Does this statement also hold true for graphical representations of jesus?
perhaps this is why the muslims do not make pictures of their prophet as they know such images to be in fact a sin.
Christianity has so many contradictions it is surprising.

Why else would he want us to feast on his flesh and drink his blood. How else would a dead man become re-animated and walk the earth while full of holes.
It worked pretty good because if you actually read the bible you would know that the dead walked the earth on the day that jesus died.
So in fact, the resurection of jesus was nothing special at that time. It was quite commonplace.

For example, jesus was god, but he was jesus but jesus was god in human form. He sent himself to earth so that he could die. Isn’t that suicide?
As far as I know, suicide is murder and that is a one way ticket to hell. Therefore god should have gone to hell as a result of his suicide.
Your god broke one of his own ten commandments… but isn’t that the point of religion? Do as I say, not as I do? God condoned rape, torture, murder, genocide, infanticide, theft, war, and racism. If god came back as jesus again he would fit right in.

Here is why. The muslim god is not merciful… not even in the slightest.
Possibly the biggest reason why is because the muslim punishment for apostasy is death.
If it wasn’t death it very well could be somethign else that will be highly uncomfortable…

5:33 Those who wage war against God and His Messenger and strive to spread corruption in the land should be punished by death, crucifixion, the amputation of an alternate hand and foot. . . .
I suspect that there are a large amount of atheists who are forced into being muslim due to fear from parents, friends, or entire society.
In fact, there is a murder trial being conducted at this moment in Canada about some honour killings. I am not going into great detail about it so I will give you the Cole’s notes version.
The father named Mohammad Shafia, his son and his 2nd wife (he had 2 wives) killed his first wife and 3 daughters. His first wife wanted a divorce and this daughters didn’t want to wear the hijab… and other things that typical Canadian girls want to do at their ages. The father deemed them to be “sluts and whores” and had them killed in order to regain his family’s honour.

There is nothing merciful about honour killings… or killing in general.
Now, the muslim god, the christian god, the jewish god, or any other god for that matter is not merciful.
It’s a good thing that none of them exist. It’s not the god that kills people, it’s people that kill people.

Today is a sad day. We will no longer benefit from the “Hitchslap” from Christopher Hitchens’s sophisticated mental kung-fu.
He has died from pneumonia as a result from complications due to his ongoing battle with cancer.
If you have never heard of him I suggest you go to YouTube and see what he was like as a person.

Her is why. We have 5,000,000 species on the planet at this point in time. This number is only about 2% of all of the species that has ever existed… so it is a relatively small number.
So Noah was tasked to take 2 of each species into the boat. That is 10,000,000 living things that need to live on the boat for a long long time. A lion can eat about 7kg of meat in a day. So that lion will eat 2,555kg per year… each. So that is 5110kg of meat each year.
Now what about tigers, cheetah, jaguar, cougar, and other giant cats? What about everything else that eats meat? If only 10% of the animals on the ark ate meat you would need 182,500,000 kg of meat (based on an average of 2.5kg a day) a year to feed these things. For you Americans that is 402,343,628 pounds of meat just to keep the meat eaters fed. What about the vegans?

So jesus was a failure.
Here is why. He never rid the world of evil. In fact, evil took his life… so evil won.
However, you can’t have good without evil… otherwise how would you know what good is? You need a benchmark to compare things to in order to figure our which side of the mark something belongs.
Good and evil are like night and day, on and off, 1 and 0 (binary), and yina and yang. They completely need each other. Without it, the world will cease to function properly.
So jesus was doomed to fail from the start and it was impossible for that outcome to be any different.

Thor was the son of a god that was supposed to rid the world of ice giants. I don’t know about you… but there is not many ice giants around.
Do earthquakes in Turkey mean that god hates the Turkish People? Is he punishing them for sinning or doing other foul deeds of some sort?
Why should he punish them. Over 90% of them are religious… muslim to be exact. Muslim people are quite devoted to their religion and their idea of a god. Why should a god punish that? Isn’t that what their god is after?
According to Wikipedia, “an earthquake (also known as a quake, tremor or temblor) is the result of a sudden release of energy in the Earth’s crust that creates seismic waves.” So basically, the earths crust released energy like when you snap a rubber band or release the lock on a measuring tape and the tape suddenly rolls back into it’s holder with a violent and sudden explosion of force.
That’s all. There is no magic, no old man in the sky shaking the world. It is simply life as it happens… and it happens all over the world.
Your god had nothing to do with it because your god does not exist. If you want to do something for the people in Turkey, do something. Don’t pray as that is useless. It does nothing. Donate some money so that they can have some food and water. That will do something.
You would be surprised at how much hate is directed towards atheists on a daily basis. Even Canada, I am faced with not being able to disclose my religious views as I see fit because I never know how the other person is going to react.
Don’t get me wrong, I am quite open with my beliefs…
However, sometimes there are times that it is not the best idea to let it be known that I am an Atheist. This isn’t because I am afraid… it is because I am smart about it.
